Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a actress, playwright director, producer, playwright and teacher in St. Thomas University). Anna Silk was the daughter of a Briton, and the son of a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. As a child, she appeared in several commercials. Anna was able to move to Toronto Ontario in order for the purpose of pursuing her acting. The decade following, she made the move into Los Angeles.
